Standard temperature probes, when used with inductive cookware will tend to cause unstable and inaccurate readings. The 50336-K-UG can be used to measure temperature of food solids and liquids. Quick and rugged for dependable performance. This version is specially designed for use with Induction stoves and cookware. It offers fast, accurate temperature readings that will not be adversely affected by induction cookware or cooktops. While specifically designed for induction cooking, it works well with standard cookware too.
