Tinner Snips - Forged Blades
If you care about the quality of the tools you use, you'll appreciate a company that cares about the quality of the tools it makes. At Midwest Tool and Cutlery Company, we take the time and effort to manufacture the very best tinner snips you can buy. You'll find that our snips perform better and last longer - from tips to grips - than any other brand.
The most important measure of a tinner snip is how it cuts - and how long it will cut. Our tinner snips significantly outlast those of other manufacturers. Performance tests conclude that Midwest Snips® Tinner Snips exceed 30,000 cycle test cuts without failure and without requiring blade adjustment. No other manufacturer's tinner snip reaches this standard.
Features and Benefits
Strongest, longest lasting blades are hot-drop forged and heat treated for strength, durability and sharpness. The 7-in., 10-in. and 12-in. models - both straight and duckbill blade pattern - are forged of high carbon steel to produce a tough, long-lasting cutting edge. The 14-inch Combination Pattern Models and the 16-inch Bulldog Pattern Models are forged of molybdenum alloy steel resulting in an even tougher, stronger cutting edge that will cut through thicker materials and multiple layers of material.
Kush'n-Kote® comfort grips provide a no-slip grip and comfort the user's hand.
Blades stay in adjustment longer because a case hardened slab bolt is fitted through the bottom blade and secured with a special locknut. This feature keeps blades in adjustment for over 30,000 cycle test cuts.
Full-polish finish provides a professional look and feel to our Made in USA tinner snips.
